Welcome to my Direct Cellars Review. There has been some vibe about this company called Direct Cellars,so I decided to find out what the company was all about and do some research on the company.

You are probably here because you have heard of Direct Cellars and what to find out if it is a legit company or a scam.

Here is a detailed review on the company Direct Cellars and I would walk you through the Direct Cellars company,the compensation plan,the products and the verdict.

Direct Cellars was founded by David Distefano in 2014 and has offices in Chicago, Fort Lauderdale and Seattle. It is a wine club with an MLM twist. However, apart from the information available on the site, there is nothing about the owner on the internet.

They have focused all their marketing efforts to the continent of North America and thus receiving the bulk (94%) of their web traffic from the USA. The rest of the web traffic comes from Canada.

The domain is an old one which is repurposed for the business.

However, like the most legit business entities, it is set to expire in 2019.

That is all about the company. Let’s look at the products they offer.

Like I mentioned before, Direct Cellars offers a selection of wines.

Customers who are interested in these wines don’t actually choose what they want, the company simply sends out a collection of bottles each month.

Direct Cellars is the popular network marketing company that brought wine to the MLM space.

A wine club + direct sales? Sounds like a gold mine for stay-at-home moms who want a home based business selling wine to their friends.

Product-of-the-month clubs have BLOWN UP over the past couple years but Direct Cellers is here to ride the waves with a crowd favorite: wine.

Direct Cellars Compensation Plan

Commissions in Direct Cellars are paid out when you sponsor other members who either become customers or distributors.

That’s how network marketing works.

Direct Cellars features both binary and unilevel compensation plans depending on which bonus or residuals you earn.

Also unlike all the other Direct Cellars reviews out there I want to give you the best information I can.

Direct Cellars Ranks

There are a total of 9 ranks within the Direct Cellars compensation plan.

Each rank has its own qualifications, which look like this:

·         Wine Lover – Sign up as a Direct Cellars affiliate and recruit and maintain at least 1 affiliate

·         Wine Enthusiast – Achieve commission qualified status

·         Wine Critic – Recruit and maintain 3 commission qualified affiliates

·         Wine Specialist – Recruit and maintain 4 commission qualified affiliates

·         Wine Expert – Recruit and maintain 5 commission qualified affiliates

·         Wine Connoisseur – Recruit and maintain 6 commission qualified affiliates

·         Wine Aficionado – Recruit and maintain 7 commission qualified affiliates

·         Wine Master – Recruit and maintain 8 commission qualified affiliates

·         Master Cellar – Recruit and maintain 9 commission qualified affiliates

Qualifications To Get Paid Commissions

To earn paid commissions in this company, you are required to sponsor and maintain 2 active members who have purchased the $79.95 per month auto-ship.

These members must also maintain that monthly auto-ship month in order to get the commissions.

Retail Sales Commissions

Retails sales commissions are earned when you are on the auto-ship but also sell the wine to retail customers.

You can earn around $20 per wine package.

Recruiting Payout Commissions

When you recruit new members into Direct Cellars, you can earn commissions based on the membership level:

·         Recruit a Premium Wine Lover affiliate ($249.95) and get paid $125

·         Recruit a Premium Wine Lover Elite affiliate ($499.95) and get paid $250

Residual Binary Commissions

A binary compensation plan features two legs, left and right, and in order to qualify you need to sponsor at least 2 people.

Every week, Direct Cellars counts up the sales volume and pays a commission on whichever leg is weaker.

If there is any extra volume leftover, it will get rolled over to the next week.

How much commission you earn depends on the rank you hold:

·         Wine Enthusiast – 6%

·         Wine Critic – 8%

·         Wine Specialist – 10%

·         Wine Expert – 12%

·         Wine Connoisseur – 14%

·         Wine Aficionado – 16%

·         Wine Master – 18%

·         Master Cellar – 20%

Residual Unilevel Commissions

Residual commissions are available and are paid through a uni-level structure.

Not sure what that looks like? Take a look:

·         Level 1: Personally enrolled members

·         Level 2:  Level 1’s personally enrolled members

·         Level 3:  Level 2’s personally enrolled members

You can earn residual unilevel commissions down 9 levels, but you must hold the highest rank to get paid through all nine.

It looks a little something like this:

·         Wine Lover – 10% on level 1

·         Wine Enthusiast – 10% on level 1 and 5% on level 2

·         Wine Critic – 10% on level 1 and 5% on levels 2 and 3

·         Wine Specialist – 10% on level 1, 5% on levels 2 and 3 and 4% on level 4

·         Wine Expert – 10% on level 1, 5% on levels 2 and 3 and 4% on levels 4 and 5

·         Wine Connoisseur – 10% on level 1, 5% on levels 2 and 3, 4% on levels 4 and 5 and 3% on level 6

·         Wine Aficionado – 10% on level 1, 5% on levels 2 and 3, 4% on levels 4 and 5 and 3% on levels 6 and 7

·         Wine Master – 10% on level 1, 5% on levels 2 and 3, 4% on levels 4 and 5, 3% on levels 6 and 7 and 2% on level 8

·         Master Cellar – 10% on level 1, 5% on levels 2 and 3, 4% on levels 4 and 5, 3% on levels 6 and 7 and 2% on levels 8 and 9

Matching Bonus in Direct Cellars

Matching bonuses are also available and are paid on your directly sponsored members who earn commissions.

This bonus is paid down 4 levels in a unilevel structure.

Once again, if you want to get paid down all 4 levels, you must hold that highest rank:

·         Wine Lover – 10% match on level 1

·         Wine Enthusiast – 10% match on level 1 and 5% match on level 2

·         Wine Critic – 10% match on level 1, 5% match on level 2 and 4% match on level 3

·         Wine Specialist – 10% match on level 1, 5% match on level 2, 4% match on level 3 and 3% match on level 4.

Each time you sell a wine bottle package to a new customer, you get $20. When you recruit a new Premium Wine Lover affiliate, you get paid $125. When you recruit a new Premium Wine Lover Elite affiliate, you get paid $250.

Binary commissions are paid out depending on your rank and according to the following chart:

·        Wine Enthusiast: 6%

·        Wine Critic: 8%

·        Wine Specialist: 10%

·        Wine Expert: 12%

·        Wine Connoisseur: 14%

·        Wine Aficionado: 16%

·        Wine Master: 18%

·        Master Cellar: 20%

Unilevel commission are paid on based on rank as well, and you can unlock up to 9 level deep. They range from 10% to 38%.

On top of that, you can earn a matching bonus on the commission of your direct recruits, down to level 4.

Cost To Join Direct Cellars

The cost to join Direct Cellars is two-fold.

First, you need to purchase one of the two packages below:

1.   Premium Wine Lover – $249.95 for four bottles of wine

2.   Premium Wine Lover Elite – $499.95 for twelve bottles of wine

And second, you are required to maintain a $79.95 per month auto-ship.

Is Direct Cellars Actually Legit Or A Scam?

Direct Cellars is actually legit and not a scam.However to be successful in Direct Cellars or any other network marketing out there it would depend on your lead generation technique,your ability to recruit and your marketing techniques.

Verdict On Direct Cellars

Overall Direct Cellars is a legit company with good products and compensation plan…

What you really need to look at here is if the Wine is actually any good and how is the pricing compared to the marketplace…

If the wine is good and the prices are competitive, then I would give it a shot…

However,  if it’s very overpriced then it will be a tough sell overall because you can get wine anywhere really…

Another good thing is there is no real competition in the network marketing field on wine so you will be one of a kind that’s for sure.
